Thomas Bates has been making fine accessories for over 25 years. Our brand has been available since 1989.
Many folks remember Thomas' fun belts and buckles from the early days. Today, in addition to lots of cool belts, we produce an array of women’s accessories, our exclusive Opnnr® collection and pet products. There is a bit of something for everyone. Our patented Visiontree® digital graphic process is exclusive to Thomas Bates Designs. With this patented process we are able to take any digital image and transfer it onto narrow fabric for belts, tote bag or sandal straps, pet products and other small accessories. We have an extensive library of over 400 stock patterns that can be applied to any of our "MYO" (Make Your Own) items, or we will be happy to work with you to create a custom* product using your artwork.
We manufacture most of our products in either our own US factory, or our factory in China. As a small company we know the responsibility of being sure all our workers are treated fairly. We pay competitive wages that ensure a reasonable quality of life. While we cannot be everything to everyone, the bottom line is we care and do everything possible to be a responsible partner in the manufacturing process.
